Heart and Soul Free Clinic announces annual Tea, Fashion Show and Silent Auction

Dear Community Leader,

The Heart and Soul Free Clinic located in Westfield, Indiana will be hosting its annual Tea, Fashion Show and Silent Auction on Sunday, April 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. Our Spring into Summer event will be held at East Street Studios in Westfield on the campus of IMMI. This annual fundraiser helps the clinic raise funds to provide free healthcare and, beginning in April 2016, dental care to uninsured and underinsured residents of Hamilton County and the surrounding areas.

The Clinic provides this much needed care through volunteer doctors, nurses and a referral network of volunteer or low cost health specialists including mental health providers. The clinic also covers the cost of prescriptions and lab work as much as our budget allows. In order to meet the growing health needs of the community, we will be opening a dental clinic in April. Although the dental clinic will be staffed by volunteer dentists and dental personnel, there will be many costs incurred. Even with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and the Healthy Indiana Plan 2.0, 90% of patients remain uninsured or underinsured and 94% of our patients do not have dental insurance or access to dental care.

Participating businesses will be prominently listed on our website and in the event program.
